Dollar Tree HR Contact

You just started at Dollar Tree, or maybe Family Dollar, and you need to check your pay stub. You open the portal and find yourself staring at six different systems: Compass Mobile, the Associate Information Center, MyInfo, myTree, myCareer, and Doculivery. Each one handles something different, none of them explain which one you actually need, and nobody at orientation told you where to start.

That portal maze is the single biggest HR frustration at Dollar Tree. This guide walks through each system in the order you will need them, from your first day through tax season and beyond.

Day-to-day questionsYour Store Manager

Everything below adds detail to this table. If you already know which system you need, jump straight to that section.

Step 1: Getting into Compass Mobile (day one)

Compass Mobile at compassmobile.dollartree.com is your starting point. This portal covers schedules, pay information, company news, and links to the other HR systems. Your login uses a default password provided during orientation. Change it immediately after your first login.

If you were not given a default password, or if the one you received does not work, ask your Store Manager. They can reset it or provide the correct initial credentials. Do not try to create an account on your own through the website, as employee accounts are set up by the company.

Compass Mobile works for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar employees. The same system, same login process. If you transferred between the two brands, your credentials should carry over.

Step 2: Understanding the Associate Information Center

The Associate Information Center is a self-service hub that links out to four sub-portals. Think of it as a menu page rather than a destination. From here you access:

MyInfo handles payroll. Pay stubs, direct deposit setup, and tax withholding changes all live here. If your paycheck looks wrong or your direct deposit did not go through, this is where to check first.

myTree handles benefits. Health insurance, enrollment periods, and plan details are managed through myTree. This is where you go during open enrollment or when you experience a qualifying life event. More on Dollar Tree employee benefits in that dedicated guide.

myCareer handles development. Training modules, performance reviews, and internal job postings are here. Less relevant for day-to-day HR questions, but worth knowing about.

Doculivery handles tax documents. Your Dollar Tree W-2 and year-end pay statements are accessed through Doculivery. During tax season, this is where you download or print your W-2 without waiting for the paper copy.

Step 3: Knowing when to call the Speak Up Line

1-888-835-5792 is Dollar Tree’s Speak Up Line. Use it for ethics violations, harassment, discrimination, workplace safety concerns, and situations where going through your store manager is not appropriate (for example, when the manager is the problem).

Reports through the Speak Up Line can be made anonymously. The line operates outside your store’s management chain, which means your district or regional team handles the investigation rather than anyone you work with directly.

Do not use the Speak Up Line for general HR questions like pay stub issues or scheduling conflicts. Those go through Compass Mobile, MyInfo, or your Store Manager.

Step 4: Handling pay, benefits, and PTO through the right portal

Once you know the layout, matching your issue to the right system becomes straightforward:

Pay stub error or missing paycheck: Log into MyInfo through the Associate Information Center. Check your most recent pay statements and compare the hours listed against your actual shifts. If there is a discrepancy, bring the specifics to your Store Manager with the pay stub pulled up on screen.

PTO request: Submit through Compass Mobile or talk directly with your Store Manager. Dollar Tree’s PTO policies vary by classification and tenure, so confirm your accrual rate in MyInfo if you are not sure how much time you have.

Benefits enrollment: Go to myTree during open enrollment. If you missed the window, you can only make changes with a qualifying life event. Check with your Store Manager if you are unsure about deadlines.

Direct deposit setup or change: MyInfo handles this. Changes typically take one to two pay cycles to go into effect, so do not panic if your first paycheck after a change still goes to the old account.

Step 5: The part-time vs. full-time classification problem

Dollar Tree classifies employees as part-time or full-time, and that classification controls your benefits eligibility. The issue that comes up over and over: associates working full-time hours for extended periods while still classified as part-time, which locks them out of health insurance and other benefits.

If you believe your classification is wrong, check your average weekly hours in MyInfo. Consistently working 30 or more hours per week may qualify you for reclassification. Raise it with your Store Manager first, then escalate to your District Manager if nothing changes. Document your hours with screenshots from MyInfo to support your case.

Step 6: What to do after you leave

Former Dollar Tree employees lose access to most portals after separation. Doculivery may remain accessible for W-2 retrieval depending on your account status, so try logging in before assuming you are locked out.

Paper W-2s are mailed to your last address by January 31. If you moved after leaving, contact your former store or Dollar Tree HR to update your address before that deadline. The Dollar Tree final paycheck guide covers state-specific rules on when your last check should arrive.

Employment verification goes through a third-party service. Most lenders and background check companies can pull your records without you needing to call anyone.

COBRA and post-separation benefits questions should go to the benefits administrator listed in your separation documents. Our guide to benefits after leaving Dollar Tree has more on that process.

The late 2025 system migration

Dollar Tree began another portal migration in late 2025, which may affect which systems are active and where specific functions have moved. If a link or portal name in this guide does not match what you see, ask your Store Manager for the current URL. Portal migrations at Dollar Tree have been a recurring source of confusion, and the transition period always creates temporary access issues.
