Kohl’s Employee Logins

Published:

The Kohl’s employee portal is MyHR at myhr.kohls.com. Your 7-digit Associate Code is your login ID. This walkthrough covers every step from first login to finding your pay stubs, W-2s, and benefits information — plus the separate path for former employees.

Getting to MyHR: Two Entry Points

There are two ways to reach the Kohl’s employee portal, and both land you in the same place:

Direct URL: Go to myhr.kohls.com in your browser. This takes you straight to the login screen. Bookmark this one.

Through kohls.com: Scroll to the very bottom of the Kohl’s homepage and look for “Associate Services” in the footer. Clicking that link redirects you to MyHR. This method works, but it’s slower and depends on you finding a small link buried at the bottom of a shopping website.

Either way, you’ll see a login screen asking for your 7-digit Associate Code and your password. Your Associate Code is on your badge, your pay stub, and posted schedules. If you’re brand new and don’t have it yet, your store manager or HR coordinator can look it up.

Walking Through MyHR: Section by Section

Once logged in, MyHR is organized into several main areas. The layout is relatively straightforward compared to retailers that split things across multiple portals.

Self Service is your most-used section. This is where pay stubs, W-2 tax forms, direct deposit settings, and personal information updates live. To find a specific pay stub, go to Self Service > Payroll and select the pay period you need. For your W-2, it’s Self Service > Payroll > View W-2.

Benefits covers health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefit elections. During open enrollment periods, this section becomes your main destination. Outside of enrollment windows, you can still view your current elections and coverage details here.

Scheduling shows your work schedule and lets you manage availability. Kohl’s scheduling tools within MyHR are functional but basic. If your schedule isn’t showing up, it likely hasn’t been published yet rather than being a portal error.

Company information includes training modules, company news, and policy documents. Most employees don’t spend much time here, but it’s where you’ll find the employee handbook and store-specific announcements.

Your Kohl’s Discount: Not Managed Through MyHR

Before you spend time digging through MyHR looking for your discount setup, know that your Kohl’s employee discount — 15% off merchandise — isn’t activated or managed through the portal. The discount is tied to your associate ID at the register and stacks with Kohl’s Cash and customer coupons, which can effectively push your savings to 30% or more.

Kohl’s also has a corporate rates portal for additional discounts on outside products and services. Links to that platform may appear within MyHR, but the corporate rates site has its own login separate from your Associate Code.

Password Reset Process

If you can’t log in, the password reset process for MyHR goes through the login page. You’ll need your 7-digit Associate Code and answers to the security questions you set up during your first login.

When the self-service reset doesn’t work (usually because you don’t remember your security questions), your store’s HR coordinator can submit a manual reset. This typically generates a temporary password within a few hours. In some cases, you may need to call Kohl’s HR directly at 844-564-5747 if your store HR can’t resolve it.

A common mistake: confusing your Kohl’s.com customer account login with your MyHR employee login. These are completely separate systems. Your customer account password, Kohl’s Cash balance, and shopping history have nothing to do with MyHR. If you’ve been trying your kohls.com shopping password on myhr.kohls.com, that’s why it’s not working.

Former Employee Login: The Blue Tile

This is the piece that trips up most people searching for their Kohl’s W-2 after leaving. Former employees have a dedicated login path, but it’s not immediately obvious.

Go to myhr.kohls.com. On the login page, look for a blue tile labeled “Former Associate Login and W-2 Instructions.” Click that tile. It routes you to a separate authentication flow for former employees.

You’ll need to verify your identity — typically your Associate Code (if you remember it), Social Security number, and date of birth. Once verified, you can access your W-2 and some limited employment information.

Should the blue tile method not work, former Kohl’s employees can also access W-2s through H&R Block‘s tax document service. This is an alternative path that some former associates have reported success with when MyHR’s former employee portal gives errors.

When neither option works, call 844-564-5747 and ask for former associate W-2 assistance. Have your SSN, approximate employment dates, and last known Associate Code ready.

For a complete breakdown, see the Kohl’s W-2 guide for former employees.

Your Pre-Login Checklist

Before troubleshooting anything, make sure you’ve covered the basics:

  • [ ] Correct URL? The portal is myhr.kohls.com. Not kohls.com. Not myhr.com. Not kohlsmyhr.com.
  • [ ] 7-digit Associate Code ready? Check your badge, pay stub, or ask your manager.
  • [ ] Using your employee password, not your kohls.com shopping password? They’re separate systems.
  • [ ] Former employee? Look for the blue tile on the login page. Don’t try the current-employee login.
  • [ ] First time logging in? Your store HR coordinator should have walked you through initial setup. If they didn’t, ask for your temporary credentials.
  • [ ] Trying to access your discount? That’s not in MyHR. The discount is applied at the register through your associate ID.
  • [ ] Need your W-2 and can’t log in? Try the blue tile, then H&R Block, then call 844-564-5747.

Sephora and Amazon Returns Employees: Same Portal

If you work at a Sephora at Kohl’s shop-in-shop (now in 600+ locations) or handle Amazon returns at your store, your portal is still MyHR at myhr.kohls.com. These are Kohl’s positions, not Sephora or Amazon positions, so your payroll, benefits, and scheduling all run through the same system as every other Kohl’s associate.

This confuses some Sephora-at-Kohl’s employees who assume they should be on Sephora’s employee portal (which is a completely different company with its own HR system). If your paycheck says “Kohl’s” on it, your portal is MyHR.

Mobile Access

MyHR works in mobile browsers, though the experience is similar to what you’d expect from a portal that was designed primarily for desktop use. There’s no standalone Kohl’s employee app. Most associates check their schedule and pay stubs from their phone by going directly to myhr.kohls.com in Safari or Chrome.

If the mobile version isn’t loading properly, try requesting the desktop version of the site in your browser settings. On iPhone, tap the “aA” icon in the address bar and select “Request Desktop Website.” On Android in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and check “Desktop site.”

Getting More Help

For portal issues your store can’t resolve, Kohl’s has two phone numbers:

844-564-5747 — HR support for associates and former associates. Use this for password resets, W-2 requests, and benefits questions.

262-703-7000 — Kohl’s corporate headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This is a general number, not HR-specific, but it can route you to the right department if the first number isn’t getting results.
