If you have tried reaching Kroger HR and ended up bouncing between four different portals without finding what you needed, you are not alone. Kroger’s HR system is split across multiple platforms, and the company does not make it particularly obvious which one handles which task. That confusion is the number one complaint from Kroger associates when it comes to getting HR support.
This guide cuts through it.
The one number that handles most issues
1-800-952-8889 is Kroger’s main HR phone line. Call this number for payroll problems, benefits questions, leave of absence requests, employment verification, and general HR support. Have your EUID (Enterprise User ID, which looks something like ls00000) ready when you call, because the representative will ask for it right away.
This number works for current employees across all Kroger banners: Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Harris Teeter, and the rest. Former employees can also call this line for W-2 requests, COBRA questions, and employment verification, though access to specific portal features may be limited after separation.
Which portal handles what: a comparison
This is where most associates get tripped up. Kroger runs four main systems, and each one handles different tasks:
| Portal | URL | What it does | When to use it |
| SecureWEB | sso.kroger.com | Single sign-on gateway | Starting point for logging into any Kroger system |
| Feed | feed.kroger.com | Company news, training, communications | Checking announcements, completing training modules |
| MyTime | mytime.kroger.com | Schedules, shift swaps, time punches | Viewing your schedule, swapping shifts, checking hours worked |
| MyInfo | myinfo.kroger.com | Paystubs, tax forms, personal details, direct deposit | Anything related to your pay, your W-2, or your personal information |
All four portals use the same EUID login, and all route through SecureWEB for authentication. If you cannot log into one, you usually cannot log into any of them. Which brings us to the next problem.
The 90-day password problem
Kroger passwords expire every 90 days. If yours has expired and you cannot reset it through the portal, you have two options: contact your store manager to request a reset through the IAM (Identity and Access Management) tool, or call 1-800-952-8889 and ask for IT support.
The timing is frustrating. Many associates discover their password has expired right when they need to check a pay stub or download their Kroger W-2, and then they are stuck waiting for a manager who may not be on shift that day. Setting a calendar reminder around the 80-day mark to update your password saves a lot of grief later.
New hires run into a related issue: their accounts sometimes take 3 to 7 days to appear in the system after orientation. In some stores, it has taken as long as three weeks. If your login is not working within the first week, check with your department manager before assuming something is broken.
Union associates: your additional HR channel
Kroger is a UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers) union employer. If you are a union member, you have an additional layer of representation beyond the company’s HR department. Your local UFCW representative can assist with grievances, contract disputes, disciplinary actions, and questions about your specific collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
This matters because benefits, PTO accrual rates, scheduling rules, and disciplinary procedures all vary by local union contract. What applies in your King Soopers in Colorado may be different from a Kroger store in Ohio. When you call 1-800-952-8889, the HR rep handles company-wide policies. For anything specific to your CBA, your union steward or local UFCW office is the right contact.
Your union steward is usually someone who works in your store. If you do not know who that is, ask your department manager or check the union bulletin board, which is typically posted in the break room.
Benefits and enrollment questions
Kroger’s benefits portal is MyLife at Kroger, which is separate from MyInfo. Open enrollment periods, plan comparisons, and benefits changes are handled there. The PerkSpot platform handles external discounts like travel deals, entertainment, and vehicle programs, which are separate from your Kroger employee discount.
If you have a benefits question that MyLife at Kroger does not answer, call 1-800-952-8889 and ask for benefits support. Common reasons to call include: confusion about your eligibility (especially if your hours fluctuate between part-time and full-time), issues with dependent coverage, and questions about what happens to your benefits if you leave the company. Our guide on benefits after leaving Kroger covers that last one in detail.
Retirement questions, including 401(k) and pension inquiries, usually get routed to the plan administrator rather than handled internally. Kroger is one of the few major retailers that still offers a pension plan for some associates, so questions about pension eligibility are worth raising specifically.
Getting help with schedules and timecards
MyTime at mytime.kroger.com is where schedule and timecard issues live. The system runs on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and handles shift swaps, time punch corrections, and PTO requests. If your schedule is not appearing, which is a known issue for new hires, contact your department manager first.
A June 2025 policy change added confusion around timecards: associates can no longer fix timecard errors unless they are clocked in. If you notice an error after your shift, you need to flag it the next time you are on the clock. This change has caused friction, so if you are experiencing pushback on corrections, know that it is a company-wide policy, not your manager making things up.
Your Kroger PTO balance and accrual rate show up in MyTime as well. Keep in mind that PTO policies vary significantly by union division, state, and whether you are full-time or part-time.
Former employees: what still works
After leaving Kroger, your access to MyInfo, MyTime, and Feed gets cut off. The HR line at 1-800-952-8889 still works for former employees, though wait times can be longer and some reps may not have immediate access to your records.
W-2s are the trickiest part. Contact HR to request a mailed copy if you did not download it before leaving. Paper W-2s go out to your last address on file by January 31. If your address was wrong, calling HR to update it before that deadline is the best move.
Employment verification requests from landlords or lenders are handled through Kroger’s third-party verification service, so you should not need to call HR for those.
When to escalate beyond the store
Most HR issues can be resolved at the store level with your manager or HR coordinator. But if you have reported a problem and nothing is happening, or if your concern involves your manager directly, escalation makes sense. Call 1-800-952-8889 and ask for your district HR manager, or submit a formal concern through the Feed portal.
Ethics violations, discrimination, safety hazards, and retaliation claims go through a separate reporting mechanism. Check the Feed portal for the current ethics reporting link, or ask for it when you call the main HR number.
